The Faculty Pharmacist develops and teaches a comprehensive pharmacotherapy curriculum in Family Medicine Residency Training. Develop and implement a curriculum and core competencies to train and supervise pharmacy residents and pharmacy students in ambulatory medicine clinical rotations. Develops and implements the innovative pharmacy services component in a model Patient Centered Medical Home practice delivery model as a collaborative member of the clinical care team. Collaborate with the other faculty, residents and staff to provide quality healthcare to our patients and quality education to our residents and others in St. Peter Family Medicine and the Providence Medical Group.

Required Qualifications:    

  • PharmD Graduate of an accredited college of pharmacy.
  • Upon hire: Washington Pharmacist License Or 
  • Upon hire: Washington Pharmacist Temporary License Or 
  • Upon hire: Washington Pharmacist Preceptor License  
  • Completion of pharmacy residency in Primary/Ambulatory Care or equivalent experience.
  • Experience with electronic medical records, spreadsheet, documentation, presentation, and clinical software.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Pharmacy experience in graduate medical education teaching and curriculum development, Warfarin management, developing Medication Management Therapy (MMT) services in a primary care setting.
