The referenced pay range represents the minimum and maximum compensation for this job. Responsibilities:

GENERAL PURPOSE:

Under the direction of leadership, is accountable for provision of competent direct patient care based on established standards. Contributes to unit activities and supports enhancement of the care delivery system at the unit level. Supports peers in the delivery of patient care services and assumes an expanded role which may include charge nurse, preceptor, and committee member responsibilities.

An exciting opportunity to work at WCI @ Highland ambulatory clinic. The new clinic float position provides nursing continuity Monday-Friday (8:00 am-4:30 pm) to our many multidisciplinary clinics including GYN Oncology, Geriatric Oncology, and Supportive Care Oncology Clinic. The nurse will provide patient teaching, resource between clinic to infusion center, team coverage when needed, follow up phone calls, symptom management support, and in-basket management. The nurse will review upcoming schedules with the goal of being aware of upcoming clinics and huddle with staff before and after clinic to identify action items. This role will require someone who enjoys working with teams, is self-motivated, and a good communicator.
