Mō tō mātou rōpū: About the team

NorthCare Medical Centres are owned by Primary Health Care Limited (PHCL). Our vision is to deliver primary care that supports all people to thrive by realizing their health and wellbeing potential. Many of our team members have been with us for a long time, something we think says a lot about who we are.

PHCL takes a proactive approach to delivering the best care for each patient, with the support of both multi-disciplinary and non-clinical practice teams. We have a strong equity focus on improving health and wellbeing outcomes for Māori and Pasifika, and our collaborative way of working helps us shape our services to suit the communities we work in, because we know health isn’t ‘one size fits all’.

We believe in giving people choice in how they receive primary health care services, using data and connected systems to measure our impact and ensure we're always working to do better.

We provide a supportive work environment with excellent opportunities for growth and development. With over 250 staff working across 9 rural and urban practices in Hamilton, Taranaki, Tokoroa and Waihi Beach, our practices care for around 71,000 enrolled patients. PHCL is owned by Ventures, part of Pinnacle Incorporated.
