Job Summary

The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) will assume responsibility of patient care as delegated and supervised by the RN. The LPN performs tasks and responsibilities within the framework of case finding, health teaching, health counseling, and provision of supportive and restorative care under the direction of a Registered Professional Nurse. The LPN will support the philosophy, mission, vision and goals of the Nursing Division and the hospital.
 

Qualifications

• Associate Degree Graduate of accredited LPN program Required
• 1-3 years One year acute care preferred Preferred
• Able to read, write and communicate in English
• Basic Dysrhythmia preferred/I.V. skills preferred
• Licensed Practical Nurse New York - New York State Board of Nursing Required
• BLS - American Heart Association Required
