Key Responsibilities

Patient Care:

  • Room patients, collect vital signs, and document interactions in electronic medical records (EMR/EHR).
  • Provide education on medications, lab test kits, and treatment plans.
  • Assist with preparing, packaging, and shipping lab specimens.

Administrative Support:

  • Schedule appointments, check patients in and out, and collect copays.
  • Call in prescriptions, process refill requests, and manage correspondence.
  • Answer and triage calls while ensuring timely communication with healthcare providers.

Clinic Operations:

  • Maintain clean, well-stocked exam rooms and manage inventory and supplies.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and emergency preparedness efforts.
  • Collaborate with nurses, front office staff, and nurse practitioners to ensure smooth clinic operations.


What We’re Looking For

Education & Certification:

  • Graduate of an accredited CMA or LPN program.
  • Current CMA certification or valid state MA/LPN license.
  • CPR certification (preferred).

Experience & Skills:

  • At least 1 year of experience in the healthcare industry (clinic setting preferred).
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a patient-centered approach.
  • Proficient in scheduling, inventory management, and administrative support.
  • Familiarity with medical terminology, EHR systems, and documentation.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and adept at time management in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
