Job Description:
Job Profile SummaryProvides evaluation, direction, and application of licensed nursing services to carry out the plan of care and treatment primarily in the homes of clients under the direction/supervision of a Registered Professional Nurse, and within the realm of accepted standards of practice for a Licensed Practical Nurse.
Education:
▪ Required: Graduate of an approved License Practical Nursing program
Experience:
▪ Required: Minimum of six (6) months work as practical/vocational nurse within the last three (3) years in a hospital, nursing home or home care setting.
Skills:
▪ Ability to demonstrate good nursing judgment with minimal supervision.
▪ Ability to deal effectively and courteously with clients, families, coworkers, and/or physicians, while maintaining and exhibiting an empathetic attitude toward the sick and elderly.
Licensure/Certification/Registration:
▪ Required: MO LPN License
▪ Required: Required: Successful completion of competency testing
▪ Required: Active Driver's License
