RN, Ambulatory Nurse – Baystate Gastroenterology Medical Practice

Baystate Health, western Massachusetts’s premier healthcare provider, and home to Baystate Medical Practices is looking for an experienced Registered Nurse to join our Gastroenterology Medical Practice !  

This high-volume gastroenterology practice is staffed with a team of nurses who safely manage a complex patient population with acute and chronic gastrointestinal and hepatobiliary conditions, including inflammatory bowel disease (IBD), chronic liver disease and cirrhosis, pancreatitis, celiac disease, gastrointestinal bleeding, anemia, dysphagia, Barrett’s esophagus, and patients with abnormal imaging concerning masses or lesions. The practice supports a robust advanced endoscopy program with urgent referrals for specialized procedures such as Endoscopic Retrograde Cholangiopancreatography (ERCP), Endoscopic Ultrasound (EUS), Endoscopic Mucosal Resection (EMR), Endoscopic Submucosal Dissection (ESD), Peroral Endoscopic Myotomy (POEM), Endoscopic Ultrasound-Directed Transgastric ERCP (EDGE), and endobariatric (TORE) procedures to name a few, 

• Functions independently to assess develop and implement plan of care for complex patients .

• Provides independent quality triage and patient care utilizing strong assessment skills, point of care testing and quality assurance checks.

• Establishes plan of care, sets priorities and implements the plan of care with patient/family and team/provider input.

• Promotes health and wellness for individuals and groups of patients.

• Demonstrates a proactive approach to acute and chronic disease management.

Requirements

• Massachusetts license as an RN and BLS CPR certified.

• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience

• Experience in outpatient or related nursing experience in the specialty preferred

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment & handle multiple tasks/priorities

• Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills.

• Must have competency in delivering exceptional nursing care and have proven success in partnering with both physicians and staff

• 40 hours Monday - Friday Schedule

Compensation

Note: The compensation range(s) in the table below represent the base salaries for all positions at a given grade across the health system. Typically, a new hire can expect a starting salary somewhere in the lower part of the range. Actual salaries may vary by position and will be determined based on the candidate's relevant experience. No employee will be paid below the minimum of the range. Pay ranges are listed as hourly for non-exempt employees and based on assumed full time commitment for exempt employees.

Minimum - Midpoint - Maximum

$72,800.00 - $101,774.00 - $130,728.00
